Clay Walker was honored today by the Nashville Business Journal in a special awards luncheon as a member of the Class of 2009 Healthcare Heroes in the Community Leader category. The luncheon took place at the Sheraton Downtown Nashville. Walker was selected for the honor based on his work in the local and national multiple sclerosis communities through his nonprofit charity Band Against MS (BAMS). To date, BAMS has raised more than $2 million in an effort to fund important research that may one day lead to a cure for MS.
